BareMinerals’ Chestnut blush

If not for <strike>those pesky kids</strike>that gold shimmer, I could use this as a lighter contouring shade. As it is, I'm not personally fond of brown blushes on me, even if they are nicely neutral and have an attractive gold shimmer. I can use this color like I use Bare Radiance: on my eyelids. It makes a good sweep of color for days when I want just a bare hint of color, something to catch a little light, and mascara. (No liner, no other colors…just this or Bare Radiance, or one of my other deeper glow powders.)

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the face color in the pot; top right, the face color patted loosely over primer, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the color applied to the cheeks.
