BareMinerals’ Decades Collection kit

This kit included all the decades eye colors released to date…except 1970s. (No, I’m not sure why they did that.) I’ll also be interested to see if BE continues releasing decade-specific colors, now that we’re about to end another decade (2010s). (Update, 2012: BE was sold to Shiseido, who seems to be putting most of their focus on the new pressed colors. At this point, I’d be kind of surprised if they came out with more colors named after the decades. Obviously they missed 2010…)

BareMinerals’ Decades Collection kit

At any rate, this kit contained:

  • 1960s — soft baby pink shimmer with a slight cool sheen
  • 1980s — steel grey sparkle
  • 1990s — dark indigo-purple sparkle
  • 2000s — brilliant diamond-blue white sparkle

I acquired all the colors elsewhere, not in this kit...which predated my BE buying by over two years. I believe the order of acquisition for me went: 1990s (2007, Ebay), 1970s (2008, Ebay), 2000s (2008, Nordstrom BE counter), 1980s (2009, Ebay), and last 1960s (2010, Ulta-exclusive kit).
