One of QVC’s exclusive kits, with no new items…and just one color that had been recently pulled out of rotation (Chardonnay). Kits like these are good for beginners, because they include a mix of products: eyeshadow, blush, lipstick. The retail price for these QVC kits is the same as for three full-size individual eye colors. If one loves the makeup bags, that’s an extra bonus.

The blush is a good basic shade, versatile, works with most skintones. The eye colors...I would personally have chosen a more pigmented green, or a more metallic gold - or possibly sparkle finishes for both colors, since this kit's name and release coincided with the winter holidays. This color combination was a fairly sober "festivity", though!

This kit contained:

• Chardonnay — soft gold sheen
• Festive — dusty moss-green sheen
• Beauty blush — blushed pink sheen
• Gelato lip color — pink mauve creme
• gold metallic-finish makeup bag

By the time this kit was released I already owned all of the individual colors, so I did not buy this kit. Like I said, though, if you were new to BE, this kit would be a good deal - particularly if you managed to get it when QVC had it on sale for the holidays and knocked a few more dollars off of the price, or if you bought it with several other QVC-BE catalogue items and got $4 shipping for the entire order.
