This is not my favorite of the “foiled” kits. The brush is not my favorite, and…two near-neutrals? Really? You could have so much more easily picked better colors to show off foiling. But no, you had to go with these two.

BareMinerals’ Foiled Eye Tutorial kit

I like Night Owl. I like Disco a whole lot more. But used together in an eyeshadow look, they’re either too dulled-metal, or the look is too dark on medium-light and paler skintones. (And kind of muddy on deeper skintones.) You really need a lighter shade in there to complement either color, and balance out the look.
