BareMinerals’ Get Started: Light to Medium kit

These “get started” kits have probably been around, in one form or another, since a few years after BE started. Currently, they exist…but they’re broken up more granularly (color depth as well as warm/neutral/cool) and the focus more on the foundation, mineral veil, and other face powders. When I started collecting BE, they were optimized for a skintone range, but were a combination of eyeshadows, blush, and lip color. It was a fairly good, comprehensive introduction to the greater breadth of BE’s product lineup.

BareMinerals’ Get Started: Light to Medium kit

My own coloring is "Fair to Light", but I love the colors from all of these kits. I most like the looks I can make with the eyeshadows and blush from the Medium to Tan kit. Proving, I guess, that other peoples' designations for "what's best for us" are guidelines or suggestions, not limitations or Holy Writ.

This kit contained:

  • Cream Soda — French-vanilla satin
  • Rapture — soft nutmeg satin
  • Tiger's Eye — golden copper satin
  • First Class blush — warm rose satin
  • buxom Sugar — sheer rose beige satin
  • Angled Blush brush
  • Double-Ended Contour Shadow & Define brush
  • Eyeliner brush
