Nordstrom’s gets some fairly interesting long-sought-after colors packaged with older items. I see new items at Ulta and Sephora; and yes, there are a few of the vault treasures at Ulta (the Winter a-Glow-Glow kit, with Heaven blush; or the Dynamic Duos eyeshadow pairs with Justice); but for whatever reason, it seems like they’re better publicized in the blogosphere when they’re at Nordie’s than anywhere else. (Perhaps it’s because Sephora does get fewer new items, since they have the Buxom line; and Ulta’s customer service is generally poor and their coupons always exclude BE?) At any rate, this kit included both Charleston and Retro - Charleston had been released in one other QVC-exclusive kit, and Retro was available through the BE webstore but hadn’t been for very long, so this kit got investigated and snapped up fairly quickly.

This kit contained:

• Charleston — medium brown shimmer
• Retro — coffee-brown matte
• Summer — light bronze sand shimmer
• Rose Radiance — sheer soft pink shimmer
• Blackberry lip gloss
• double-ended Defining Edge Eye and Line Brush
• Soft Focus Face Brush

Retro is an excellent liner shade (if you ever have a chance to get it...get it. Don't pay ridiculous prices for it, but do get it.) and Charleston was highly sought after, and is a fairly nice color...so even with the neutral eye palette in this kit, I did get it. It was one of the few In Fashion kits that I did buy as a kit, rather than just acquiring the colors separately.
