I picked this up as part of my beauty haul while I was in Atlanta for Dragon*Con. I’d seen the kit come out a few months before, I’d gotten the Insider Color Shift kit, but wasn’t too sure I wanted this one. I caved when I saw it at Sephora, and tested the eyecolors - they’re gorgeous! The blush reminds me of Aromaleigh v1’s Candy-O, in terms of color intensity. It’s slightly less pigmented…but only slightly. I put the lip gloss in my “toss or give away” pile, and that whole pile will eventually go to a local women’s shelter. (I’ve never been a fan of lip glosses. It’s the texture.)
This kit contained:
Flirt is the centerpiece for this collection, and for folks who've always been a little frustrated with BE's very sheer blushes, this is a nice addition to the line. I can only hope that they'll come out with more (though I can't see BE being ballsy enough to market a counterpart to Wildflowers. Heck, if MAC can't summon up the intestinal fortitude to carry purple blushes very often, I can't see BE moving into that territory with the cheek tints.) The double ended brush went straight into the bin. My favorite piece of the collection, though, was Smolder. A decent level of pigmentation, and actual sparkle rather than just a delicate shimmer! Panache is great, too - it reminds me of Aromaleigh v1's Orinoco, with its peach base and duochrome sheen.
This kit is only available at Sephora, so keep your eye on it to make sure it doesn't go out of stock. Sephora's Friends and Family sale is traditionally held in early December, so you can get this kit for 15% to 20% off (depending on your VIB status, how much Sephora decides to discount things this year, or the alignment of the planets in the solar system. Who knows how these things are decided...)
