BareMinerals’ Ta-Dah

This color was used on me in the “customer event” makeover I had done at a BE boutique back in November. The application was hideous, but I liked the color. It was being sold as one of four colors in one of those little iQuads (which I loathe), and when I asked if it was available individually, the SA said, “No, this is the only way you can get this color.” So I did what any self-respecting makeup addict does in such a situation: I went home and searched Ebay. I found nothing then, but looking about a month later, I did find several listings for this color…and bought myself a few pots.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.

This is vaguely reminiscent of Antique Pearl, but it's darker and has a frostier finish - not a metallic, still a pearl, but it reflects more light. As of December 2010, neither this color nor Magical (the other eyecolor released in the Magical Grand) is available for individual purchase through BE or any channel partners.
