BareMinerals’ Velvet Charcoal

Dark enough for an accent or shading color, but not necessarily dark enough to easily use as a liner. The color looks just slightly warm in the pot, like it might be a brownish charcoal; but when applied I just see the neutral medium-deep grey tones. Foiled application has a smoother finish than dry-over-primer, but it doesn't have any satin or shine to it.

This color, along with the other velvet eyeshadows from this kit, have been added to the regular line. I have seen several other vendors who carry very nice soft greys in their lineup, though, that will give you the same color payoff and cost a bit less.
