I somehow think that the recorded price of this kit - USD$50.00 - was the first-day special price, rather than the later price. (This was a TSV, or Today’s Special Value. The prices for those items are usually about double the TSV price.) The two foundations make this seem more like a Grand kit, and those were usually priced in the mid to high 80s, even as early as 2004.

The colors are decent, if a bit on the “basic performer” side of things. I never saw the lip palette, so don’t know what shades those two colors were.
