CND’s Vinylux Daring Escape (109)

I orignally thought these were going to be simple, straightforward metallic blue. I’m glad I wasn’t totally accurate! I like foil-finish polishes. The finish is uneven, so minor imperfections in either the manicure or the nail are washed out in the visual noise. Metallics can be gorgeous, but sometimes it’s nice to be able to wear flashy nail polish that doesn’t loudly announce to the world that you haven’t buffed your nails recently.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

Close-up photo of the middle three fingernails of the left hand, showing the nail color applied. It’s also nice to see this shade of turquoise in a nail polish. Most blues are baby blue, sky blue, navy, cobalt blue…not too many turquoise. I like the shade, and it looks good on me.
