CND’s Vinylux Flirtation collection

Some pastels, some softer colors…and two blues that are a bit deeper and more saturated than the rest of the collection smile Desert Poppy was a repromote from two summers ago. I didn’t pick it up then, and I didn’t pick it up this time either. The pinks and peaches are nice shades if not incredibly unique; but the standouts are the slightly-mustard gold Honey Darling and the medium pinked-lavender. They’re just different enough from things I have in my collection, and they look just a bit better with my coloring.

CND’s Vinylux Flirtation collection

The colors are attractive, but the names irk me a little. Pink Pursuit? Skin Tease? Be Demure? This isn't Flirtation, this is Coquettishness or Game-Playing. (Neither of which would be a very marketable collection name. But then again, I haven't 'bought' into standard societal 'flirtation' roles for quite some time. They're far too restrictive.)
