CND’s Vinylux Svelte Suede (124)

I love jeweltones, I really do…but a really good neutral every now and again is a welcome counterpoint. It’s like a visual palette cleanser that doesn’t dessicate you to the point of screaming for the familiar riot of colors, it just gets you back to calming zero base. (Then, for the next manicure, you can choose from among your MANY jeweltone colors.)

Svelte Suede is a neutral that leans just a little bit warm. The formula is on the thinner side, but it isn’t outright watery, and it applies evenly. I got full coverage in two coats (typical for Vinylux polishes.) I could have added a third coat to this one, but I called it good with this look.

I think that this was one of the shades in the initial Vinylux release.

If you want more pink tones in your neutral polish, choose Field Fox. If you want something that’s decidedly more “golden-tan”, grab CND’s Impossibly Plush.
