All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Color Club’s Classic Blue

I do love these sapphire-blue polishes! Occasionally I like navy, sometimes a robins-egg blue…but a clear sapphire polish is so lovely. This is Color Club’s version of Pantone’s 2020 color of the year.

I have a few other blue polishes similar to this one, but most of them are shimmers rather than cremes. CND’s Blue Eyeshadow also has a creme finish, but it doesn’t quite have the color payoff or opacity that Classic Blue has. At two coats of Blue Eyeshadow the edges looked like they wanted to start thinking about being semi-sheer.
