All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.

I appreciate good felt-tip eyeliners because they let me place color over a larger area with precision or let me get extremely specific with where I place color, all with a minimum of mess or chance for a mess. These are great to drop into a pocket of my bag when I travel. I do wish that some of the other BFF mascara colors - like Wine o Clock or Lovers Coral - had made it into this lineup! A few are better than others, and - perhaps expectedly - the pink and white have the most trouble showing up well if you apply them over darker colors. These are also not at all waterproof, so for folks like me who need waterproof eye liner and mascara if it’s going to look beyond the first hour after application, you’ll need to paint over these with your favorite eye-safe fixative.
