This color is pretty clumpy. It’s really difficult to gracefully add a second coat of any of these mascaras, but the yellow and orange are particularly cranky. Since this and the yellow are brighter and lighter shades, it’s also easier to see the places close to the roots of my lashes where the mascara wand doesn’t cover as well without also speckling my lid with the color.

That said, when I can get it to not clump, I like having an orange mascara! It’s a good late spring / early summer accent. I’ve gotten the consistency to play nicer when I keep the mascara tube in my pocket or waistband while I’m brushing my teeth and putting on my eyeshadow, to warm up the tube and its contents.
