All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
ColourPop’s Lux Lipstick in Sashay

I bought this shade as soon as I saw it on ColourPop’s web site, back in spring 2019. I was starting to flesh out my lip collection with deeper colors that I’d only just started feeling comfortable wearing. (The last time they were hugely popular was, I think, in 2008-2010, and I had barely started to really get into makeup. I was far more comfortable wearing richer eyeshadows and purple blush, but bolder deeper lip shades were still some time off.) I get full coverage with perhaps two swipes (one alone almost does it, but two covers completely) and the color does stain my lips a little bit.
