Concrete Minerals’ Sexy Lips collection

After having only eyeshadows in their inventory for the longest time, Concrete Minerals has released some lip products. The’ve got a decent collection of tinted lip balms, all vegan, with no scent whatsoever. (For me, that’s a plus. I cannot use products that are overscented, especially if they’re sweet. That’s the main reason why I don’t use the MAC lippies that I do own, any more often than I do.)

Concrete Minerals’ Sexy Lips collection

This collection contained:

  • Bombshell — rose-nude
  • Electro — golden orange-red
  • Gold-Plated — white-gold
  • Ice Queen — blue-violet white
  • Karma — pinked nude
  • Lovergirl — orange-red
  • Maniac — blackberry-red
  • Phantasm — coral-red
  • Rocket — pinked-coral
  • Sweetness — pale gilded pink
  • Tease —cool fuchsia pink
  • Vamp — cherry red

I have about half of these. Some of the colors don't quite match up with what I expected; and these are lip tints, so the color isn't fully opaque...but it's not super-sheer, either. The payoff's fairly good, overall. The tubes are about as thick as a standard tube of Chapstick, or the rejuvenating lip balms from Burt's Bees. These have no preservatives, so I'm not wild about getting more tubes right away until I've actually used more of the ones that I have; but next time I think I'll pick up Sweetness and Maniac. I think that Phantasm and Electro might be too orange to work with my skin coloring; and I don't personally care for the color descriptions of either of the iridescent-white balms (Ice Queen or Gold Plated.)
