The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.
I got a bit too heavy-handed with the application today…which I suppose will happen when you're experimenting. I managed to fix things not by wiping it all off and starting over, not by lightly swiping a tissue over the shadow (though I did that), but by using a hilite powder from TKB Trading.
Part of the One Year Eyecolor Challenge (new colors used: 3)
The hilite powders - the hilites, the sparkles, the sparks - are great for adding to your favorite oxide powder (or matte eyeshadow) to spice things up...but they can also be used to save a look that's started to go rather badly awry. I'm not sure if it was the cream shadow, or the overall application; but my look was a bit too dark. I looked like a med student after their first semester. The colors were just a bit heavy (and muddy. Blending skillz: I needs them.) I tried wiping off some of the excess with a tissue, and while the results were a bit better, the look was still too dark. So I grabbed my jar of Hilite Orange mica, swept that over everything, then applied the eyeliner and mascara. It's **STILL** a bit on the darker side than I intended, but that could be because of the colors I chose, or the application method, or both.
