Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

EoTD: Partridge In A Pear Tree

Never mind what retailers might have folks believe - Christmas Day begins the 12 Days of Christmas (also known as Christmastide). The period goes from December 25 to January 6…and in some traditions, January 6 is the day of celebration, not December 25th. So everyone who's fretting about a card or package being late…don't worry! It's not late, it'll be just in time for Little Christmas (also known, in Ireland, as Women's Christmas. The men take over all the household chores and the women get to relax and are given presents or taken out to dinner. I like that idea…)

Part of the One Year Eyecolor Challenge (new colors used: 5)

Eyes

  • MAC's Soft Ochre paint pot, lash to brow
  • Aromaleigh v1's Deathvalley, lash to brow
  • TSS' Dove's A Plenty, outer crease
  • Bare Escentuals' Blaze, upper center crease
  • Bare Escentuals' For Real, inner lid
  • Bare Escentuals' Chocolate Fondue, upper lash line
  • Sephora's Flashy Copper waterproof pencil, waterline

I'm really liking BE's Soft Focus liner brush. It puts a nice, straight line along my lash line...but because the brush head is wider, I don't have to pull the brush as far to get coverage all along my lash line. And again because of brush width, the line is straighter! Even with my left hand, I can get a good line with this brush.
