Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

EoTD: Qualities - Compassion

“In many ways Compassion is still the stranger, neither wonderful nor terrible, herself, utterly, always.”

— from The Book of Qualities by J. Ruth Gendler

Part of the One Year Eyecolor Challenge (new colors used: 4)

Eyes

  • Bare Escentuals' Girlfriend Margo, lash to crease - base color
  • Aromaleigh v1's Laughing Muse, inner lid - shading
  • Make Up For Ever's Star Powder 954, outer crease - contouring
  • The SheSpace's Powder Burn, inner vee and brow - highlight
  • Sephora's Flashy Mauve waterproof liner pencil, waterline and upper outer lashes - highlight/color, base
  • Bare Escentuals' You Can Never Be Too Rich Brown, upper outer lashes - contouring
  • Cover Girl's Lash Blast Volume mascara, upper and lower lashes - definition/volume

Third try using the CG Lash Blast Volume, and I've just about come to a decision. While the mascara doesn't clump (which is good), but it's difficult to apply with that big fat brush - especially to the lashes at the corners of my eyes, and to my lower lashes. If Cover Girl had this formula with the longer, thinner brush, I might be more inclined to keep using it and see if it actually did provide volume. As it is, it's just obnoxious to use that big, blunt-ended, thick brush.
