Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

Today I tried Rimmel's Magnifier mascara. The tube is straight, so it actually stands up properly...but this stuff was all but dripping off the end of the wand when I pulled it from the tube. I now know firsthand what a runny mascara formula looks like. I didn't even try applying this to my lower lashes, since I had some smudging and spotting problems when applying it to my upper lashes. Big disappointment here. The applicator is okay, the price wasn't too bad, but when I re-read the words on the packaging, "Get the London Look", the words that kept running through my head was "Oh my god...I'm a chav!!" (Not all mascaras that are manufactured by companies headquartered in London have this problem; but every Rimmel mascara I've tried to date HAS been a bit on the liquidy side, giving me lashes that glom together (rather than clumping mascara, but still...NOT the look I'm going for) and spots of mascara on my lids and on my upper cheekbones.

I like the way the rest of the look turned out. Beyond Convention is kind of a unique brown in my collection - I don't know that I have much that's like it, as it's more of a warm brown and I tend to gravitate toward cooler browns. Since it was a limited edition and since its creator is going out of business, I'll have to set about finding a duplicate...
