Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

EoTD: The Narcoleptic’s Dream

The weather's been ugly-nasty here as of late (50-60 MPH winds, driving chilly rain, power outages) so I've been trying to come up with brighter combinations…even though I need to start using the bolder, darker colors in my collection. (Well - I guess that's what summer will be for.)

Every time I use my Aromaleigh lippies lately, I find more reasons to be sad that they're all being discontinued. I understand the reasoning behind the decision to discontinue them, they don't move quickly and because of their ingredients they can't be made in great big huge batches so they weren't necessarily making enough money to justify continuing to carry them - and even if it was completely a whim, it's the owner's business, the owner gets to make decisions regarding what products and services they will or won't offer and why. I am just now having to find replacements (preferably replacements that don't have such a short damned shelf life) and that's always a hassle. For one thing, I want the same color payoff/tint, which isn't always easy to find. Most companies market lip sticks (full color) or lip glosses (sheer color), not too many market tints...which is what many of the Aromaleigh lippies effectively were, which is what I want. Surprisingly, I've found some near-matches among Cover Girl's Lip Slicks...but only about four, to date. (And nothing for Pinafore.)
