Fyrinnae’s Housework Pearls

A very pretty, naturalistic peach-neutral with a plush-pearl finish. If you apply this dry over primer, or foil it, it ends up looking like the softer midrange shade in my photos. If you apply it over Liquid Lustre, or Stick To It, or Pixie Epoxy, the peach is a bit darker, a bit more ruddy. This color is a little too dark for me to wear as the lightest color in a look, even if applied dry over primer. Since it's right on the border between a peach-mauve and a red-peach, it can look more red or more orange depending on what colors I wear with it. (And since this is both an orange, and a slightly mauved/greyed orange tone, it looks amazing with my eye color! I may just have an additional “daily-look” shade!)

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
This color applies easily and blends nicely (unless you put it over something like Pixie Epoxy, which grabs shadows and does not let them budge an inch) but because it is essentially a warm color, you have to be careful to avoid pairing it with clear cool-toned shades. A greyed blue or green, like a shade from Aromaleigh's Carolina Summer collection, (or Monster Movie, from the same collection as this shade) would pair very well - but clearer shades of blue, or even clear or bright purples, might not create as good a combined look. I can already guess at some of the other colors in my collection that would look excellent with this. I want to start pairing it up with deeper dark blues and purples (like BE's Bondi Beach or Emotion or Mod) and see if I can make those combinations work.
