Fyrinnae’s Winter 2013 collection

There wasn’t necessarily a theme running through this group of items, other than the names. They included jeweltones and neutrals, mostly shimmers (but that’s kind of a Fyrinnae thing), and…I waited a bit too long to get these in full size. The winter of 2013 was particularly brutal for me because I had been unemployed for a long time, and knew that heading into the holiday season, I wasn’t likely to to find anything until late winter. (Which is, indeed, what happened. Thank goodness for having a second benefit claim year, which helped me keep paying the mortgage.) So when I finally did get these colors, they were in the new formula.

  • Winter Romance lip lustre

I've never been a huge fan of Fyrinnae's lip lustres solely because I'm very lazy and want colors that aren't going to need constant touch-ups throughout the day. These are lovely shades, but they are not (for the most part) lip stains. Any eating will mean that they need to be re-applied. I think I'm going to pass on Sled Puppies and Snowboarding. But the other colors are all gorgeous, rich shades; and the blush is lovely. It's got more pink tones than appear in the photo. Even with my cooler coloring, it looks very soft on me but does not "disappear".
