Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss lipstick in Lolita

I really wanted to like this lipstick better than I did. I like the color quite a lot (though my favorite near-nude from this collection is Lovecraft), but it wasn't easy to get it to apply smoothly. This one isn't as problematic as a few of the other mattes in this collection (...LUV, I'm looking at you!!) but I get best results out of this when I use lip brushes to apply it, rather than just using the stick.

Once it's in place, it stays put fairly well. There's a little tiny bit of colorstaining, but since this is a natural-ish shade it isn't as apparent as the deeper or more vivid colors in this collection.
