The color is difficult to describe - it's a richer red with some brick-ish tones, but it's a cooler shade. (Hence the “berry-brick” description.) This is also one of the shimmer-shades, so it was much easier to work with. It also stains ever so slightly, so you get the impression of the color staying in place longer…though the gold shimmer does fade a bit faster than the underlying color.
