Kiko Cosmetics’ Long Lasting Stick Shadow in Golden Mauve (36)

I ordered this thinking, oh, a nicer soft “neutral"ish shade. It’s a softer non-pastel rose base color with less-than-perfectly-even coverage. The gold duotone, which is more of scattered shimmer than a solid duotone layer, is a nice accent. It’s enough to highlight, but not enough to look like a shimmer.

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeliner tube or pencil barrel; top right, the eyeliner applied over bare skin, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the eyeliner applied on the eyelid at the lash line.

Since this is a little uneven, and less pigmented than Iris Blue or many of the other shadow sticks that I’ve tried, I would say that this shade won’t make a good eyeliner unless you both put it over black, AND use a thicker wing. It works extremely well as a standalone shadow color, though, or as a softer non-white shadow base.
