Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

Look: Envious Rose

The morning started out grey and in the low 50s, but around 3pm, all of a sudden…sun. Full sunlight. Real, actual, late-spring-like sunlight. And we're supposed to have a week of temps in the high 70s and low 80s?!??

Summer has finally come to the Pacific Northwest, it seems. Today I wore thicker pants and a 3/4-sleeve top; but I just now unpacked my short sleeve tops and yoga pants (ie, summer gear.) I know there are folks who think that 73 degrees is shorts-wearing weather…but I grew up in the southwest, running around barefoot on blacktop when I was 5-6-7-8 years old (like all the other neighborhood kids.) 73 degrees is not shorts-wearing weather to me. Now had I been born and raised in the Yukon Territories…the story might be a bit different.

Today I used the last of my Make Up For Ever colors. Thus far, at eight months into my one-year eyecolor challenge, I've only used all my colors from one other vendor (Rare Minerals - now out of business) though I've come close with a few others (I have fewer than 10 colors left to be used from each Simply Naturals and TKB Trading; I have just over a dozen left from Pure Luxe.) Most of my Everyday Minerals colors were acquired within the last two months, so it's not surprising that there are so many of those left. It's a similar story with Morgana Cryptoria: I didn't even own any colors from that vendor until a few months ago. And I have so many Aromaleigh, Bare Escentuals, and The SheSpace colors that I'd almost be shocked if either of those three subsets were running on fumes.
