All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
L’Oréal’s Infallible 24HR Eye Shadow in Purple Priority (758)

Deep grape-purple - like Concord grapes. This is a dark color with good saturation, easy application, and decent blendability. It isn’t my favorite, only because I prefer more obviously blue-purples, or warmer purples (raisin, cabernet, what have you.) The formula is pretty much the same as the other saturated 24HR Eye Shadows: creme to powder, not so easy to do fine-detail application, won’t blend with water (or, likely, most other mixing mediums) and can blend with extremely light colors without overwhelming them. In fact…it’s best to have a small blend-zone and blend the lighter color into the purple.
