Drugstore lipsticks worry me just a little bit - because they’re not sealed. I once had an overly helpful SA at my local drugstore blithely pop the cap off a lipstick, test it on the back of her hand to show me the color, then put the cap back on and set that lipstick back up on the display. No sanitizing the lipstick, no saying “This is the designated tester now”, just…meh. (And this is supposedly someone who should damn well know better.) At any rate, I kept seeing these on sale, and finally decided to try them out myself when there was a sale AND a coupon. They apply very smoothly, and last a fairly good amount of time. The ads say “10 hour wear”, but in my experience I get about 6 hours’ wear before I need to touch up. (Maybe a little less time if I’m eating.) At $9.99 these are at the higher end of the price-range for drugstore lipsticks…but, like I said: watch for the sales. I own about six of these colors.
