All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Makeup Revolution’s Forever Flawless Spirituality palette

The name, in online shops, is “Spiritual”. The label on the back says “Namaste with Cannabis Sativa.” I think that someone at Revolution realized that a) we were Collectively Over Cannabis Sativa in makeup; and b) Namaste might possibly, probably, perhaps, be seen as somewhat culturally appropriative. Apparently this realization did not happen until after the first batches were ready to ship or had already shipped, so they just said “Nah, go with it for the first several thousand. If we restock we’ll tweak the sticker.” And…honestly, how often do we look at the stickers on these anyway? I know that I differentiate the palettes by the external artwork, and the names are all printed on the tray.
