I like the idea of these blush palettes because then I can have some things that travel easily. My first experiment with Makeup Revolution’s blush palettes (Golden Sugar) went over less well than I could have hoped. I was a little leery of trying this one because of that, but I hoped that without a shimmer component there would be less of the white-cast that I saw in some of the Golden Sugar shades.
All of these shades work well with my coloring, and I don’t get much of the white cast except with the light-purple highlighter. The swatches are fairly heavy for blushes, to better showcase the colors; but when applied as blushes, I got the best results when I would lightly spritz my cheeks with fixative spray between layers. I think that these colors would work well on just about anyone with neutral coloring (not strongly cool or strongly warm), but most of the shades might require a bit more effort to work as blushes on deeper skintones.
