All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Maybelline’s Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner in Gone Greige

Why we think of greyed brown as a somehow slightly more refined color I have no idea, but…there it is. This is a lighter color, and on folks with paler skin it adds just enough color and depth to edge out of the “nude lip” category. Like the other lip liners in this collection, it’s a stick of the color that’s twist-dispensed. If the cap isn’t fixed tightly, the color begins drying and becomes significantly less easy to work with. I find that if I store these in an airtight container they stay malleable longer, but honestly…I’m not sure that these are entirely worth the trouble, unless I can’t find a match in pencil form.
