All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Maybelline’s Full n Soft Waterproof Mascara

This mascara does provide good definition, it coats my lashes well, there’s only the tiniest amount of clumping, and there’s some transfer, but not a lot. I don’t know if the “Full” portion of the name should have meant that there was some volume, because…there’s not. My lashes look good, but I’m not necessarily seeing volume. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a waterproof mascara that provides great, gimmick-free definition, you’re all set.

The mascara brush has several concentric rings of bristles. No twisting, no corkscrew pattern, just straightforward discs o bristles. Maybe that’s part of the reason that it does provide good definition? The bristles are also the more traditional, thinner kind. I prefer that just slightly to the thicker plastic almost-cone “bristles” that some mascara wands have.
