Maybelline’s Matte Brown Color Tattoo cream shadow

Boring description, gorgeous color (on me, at least!) It's a neutral brown, doesn't lean obviously warm or cool. The Chocolate Suede color tattoo that is part of the regular line is nothing like this one at all, nothing. I am SO glad that I snagged two of this color! This is an extremely straightforward, medium-deep brown matte that applies well, stays in place, and provides me a great “near-natural” shade while adding a little bit of definition (or color depth, if I choose to use this as a base for loose-powder eyeshadows.)

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeliner tube or pencil barrel; top right, the eyeliner applied over bare skin, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the eyeliner applied on the eyelid at the lash line.
