Meow Cosmetics’ Dance of Death (Halloween 2009) collection

More rich metallics and duochromes, similar to Meow’s Friday the 13th collection; but these colors have richer, deeper bases. Many also have the “smoky” / sooty base, which makes the colors more vivid…but some folks (like me) don’t like that sooty aspect.

Meow Cosmetics’ Dance of Death (Halloween 2009) collection

This collection contained:

  • Asylum — metallic teal blue sparkle
  • Cadaver — metallic sage green sparkle
  • Coffin — metallic dark copper shimmer
  • Dead of Night — midnight blue with blue and green sparkle
  • Demon — hot burnt golden orange sparkle
  • Dirt Nap — rich metallic brown copper shimmer
  • Eerie — bright jeweltone blue-purple sparkle
  • Grave Robber — deep navy with metallic blue sparkle
  • Horror — blackened wine with red iridescence
  • Necromancer — purple-black fuschia sparkle (heavy sparkle)
  • Poltergeist — white-pink shimmer
  • Spellbinding — white with multicolored sparkle
  • Spectre — white-teal shimmer
  • Tombstone — metallic pewter sparkle
  • Vampire — metallic red-purple shimmer
  • Warlock — blue-black sparkle (heavy sparkle)
  • Witch — green-black sparkle (heavy sparkle)

Poltergeist and Spectre look like they're interference-micas - available from a few other places, so I've got them in my collection. (BE hardcore users: think eye quickies, but in pink and teal instead of blue [Neptune], Green [Venus], or gold [Sun Goddess].) Necromancer, Warlock, and Witch seem to be favorites at other forums and sites. Their descriptions read a bit like the TSS Diamond Dust colors, which I have but don't love unto death. Perhaps when I get a chance to swatch them, I'll see the difference and fall in love. My early favorites from this collection, sight-unseen, are Asylum, Dead of Night, Demon, and Tombstone, followed by Cadaver and Coffin.
