Meow Cosmetics’ Mayhem Mattes collection

When Meow’s new matte collections came out, I was…dubious. The brighter color palette was somewhat interesting, but I was more concerned with the shadows themselves. Meow’s matte formula applies well if you use some kind of mixing medium (water, alcohol, whatever) but applied dry, even over a sticky base, tends to work less well. These are a little better than the Cat Eyes. The color payoff is a bit better, too - but dry application is still not the best way to use these shadows.
