If Bare Escentuals' Mint eyeshadow actually had a decent amount of pigmentation, it might be the same base shade as this one. If that same color had a gold pearlescent finish, it would be very very close to this shade.

I get effects that I like if I wear this over a cream base, either a beige or a pale neutral. I haven't tried wearing it over a deeper blue, but I suspect that would give me some gorgeous results.

This almost works as a highlighter, not because it's semisheer, but because it's a softer shade with good reflectivity. If it were a bit greyer, it would offset my eyecolor extremely nicely when I used this under my eye. I can use this as an under-eye liner/highlighter with brighter looks and it works very well. (It just doesn't offset my eye color quite as amazingly as the greyed green would. But…quibbles. Minor quibbles.)
