Applied dry, this color is a deeper red mauve. Applied wet, the shimmer is more apparent, causing the color to look more like a mauved medium-deep pink. (I love colors that do this! I feel like I'm getting twice as many options out of the same pot.) Application and color payoff are great, and the color stays in place and keeps its…what's the word…luminance? Hue? It doesn't fade, is what I'm saying.

One of the things that drew me to this color was that it's a pinkish, but it isn't faded rose, it's a color with some depth but it's not an “angry” pink or mauve. Just…very definitely there. It looks fantastic on me, especially with my coloring. I tried patting this over NYX's Hot Pink eye pencil once, just to see what would happen…it added a nice depth to this shadow color, but it wasn't the vivid hot pink of the eye pencil.
