Paired release in 2009 with the Sunless Sea collection: those were the softer, highlight shades, and these are the deeper shades. I think I remember these two originally being touted as “limited edition” releases, which I took to mean that they’d be back seasonally. They’ve been available continuously for at least a year, though…so perhaps, like the Egyptian Treasures collection, they’ve simply been made part of the regular lineup. The pictures on the site looked a little odd - I wasn’t sure if they’d been overadjusted to have those white flecks so visible (and so the colors might not true up with what was being shown), or if they were that sparkly. Turns out that the colors are actually fairly true on, but the sparkle particles aren’t quite that obvious.

• Contagion — metallic golden olive shimmer
• Deranged — dark cool forest-green shimmer
• Dour — deep smokey violet shimmer
• Grandiloquent — metallic bronze-gold shimmer
• Melancholy — muted golden rose-plum sparkle
• Morose — metallic smokey purple shimmer
• Perverse — medium red-mauve shimmer
• Purpuraceous — medium-deep grape shimmer
• Sardonic — medium-deep lapis blue shimmer
• Tarnished — silvered umber sparkle
• Turmoil — silvered cinnamon-brown shimmer
• Violaceous — medium warm violet shimmer

The blushes are:

• Delicious Despair — semisheer cool gilded raspberry sheen
• Despondent Daydream — semisheer plum mauve sheen
