When I initially swatched this color, I thought that I'd have some problems with it being just a little patchy. (You can see, in the photo, how my skin shows through the liner-swatch on my arm.) Once I applied it to my lid, though, the patchiness was far less apparent, and the dusty lilac color was what primarily drew attention.

If you were expecting a totally solid payoff, this pencil may have disappointed you just a bit. I'm glad that I picked up two of them, though, because this shade really looks good with my eyes. There are extremely subtle highlights of darker purple and blue in the color, almost like a heathered effect.
