Meow Cosmetics’ Wildcat Leopard glow powder

Meow Cosmetics’ Wildcat Leopard glow powder

Not deep enough to work for contouring or bronzing, but it does work very nicely on top of brighter blushes that you want to tone down…just a tiny little bit. The glow seems more subtle on this Wildcat powder than on many of the others, which is nice to know if you don't want quite so much glow, just a slightly quieter blush color.

The single black/white/grey shade in an entire collection of neutrals…and it's almost a blue-black, rather than being a straight-up charcoal or softened black.

When I first swatched this, I thought, “Oh, this is just like that shadow in Aromaleigh's Elemental Lusters collection!” And then I checked my inventory…and apparently I never owned a lavender-ish metallic shadow from the Elemental Lusters collection. Still, the sentiment stands: it has a metallic finish and a muted base color, it applies very easily and looks good on so many people. (Sorry, folks with lovely gold-toned skin: this will look bruise-ish on you!)

Blue? Green? Blackened…something? This color just keeps showing more and more interesting facets. The main color is a deep blue, but the sparkles make the blue look a bit lighter, especially from a distance. The blue-green shows up at certain angles, but is a subtle hint rather than an actual strong color. This is one of the closest I've ever seen a non-Fyrinnae eyeshadow come, to some of Fyrinnae's more dramatic Arcane Magic shadows.

Just a little brighter than I regularly prefer my eyeshadows…but it's a gorgeous color. I wear this as a high-contrast liner alongside blacks, dark browns, or the darkest purples I own. It did stain my skin when I swatched it, but a second pass with the makeup remover wipe took care of it.

It's grey! It's shiny! It's lumpy! ...wait, what? Yes, really. This polish is a thick quasi-foil cement grey with little sparkle particles. Except they're not exactly “little.” They act like pebbles, causing the finish to be lumpy. When they are on the top of the polish, you see the multicolored sparkle. But the clumping? I want clumping cat litter, not clumping nail polish.

Yes, rose can be both not faded and still “autumnal.” It's a deeper rose, very dark but definitely no brick or brown undertones - something which isn't often seen outside of limited-edition collections (...and why is that??? I love this color!) Application is pretty good, but the formula is a little thick, so be aware of that and don't overload the brush.

Two greens…not my favorite shade combination ever, mostly because of Juvenile. (I love Swamped! It’s a great color on me.) The colors don’t coordinate too well, in my opinion, because one is warmer while the other is just slightly cool. But I’m betting that there are people out there who have warm-side-of-neutral skintones who can wear this combination really really well.

As soon as I saw this palette, I knew I had to have it! Deeper colors? Check. Jeweltone hues? Check. A good mix of pearl and shimmer…and no mattes (which Sleek isn’t so great at)? Check. It reminds me - just a bit - of the Sparkle and Sparkle II palettes, at least in terms of the colors.
