The end of April marks the one-year anniversary of Shiro Cosmetics...and she's hard at work on a new collection, which she plans to release by the end of the month!!

Morgana Cryptoria has two eyeshadow collections coming up as well, and scheduled for release later this month: Murder Mystery and Shifty Eyed. I think the Shifty Eyed collection is supposed to be most of her 2011 vegan lipstick shades, in eyeshadow form! I was sent a preview-color, Jaded Peacock (from the Murder Mystery collection), when I ordered some lipsticks last month. Apparently that color's been tweaked slightly to make it less sheer.

B.Koi asks whether women should let their age dictate their makeup style...but the reason I'm linking to that post, honestly, is the first comment. Mandy hits it right out of the park! Everyone should develop and keep evolving and refining their sense of style based on what they want to do, how they feel best. It's not about "looking age appropriate", it's about "wearing what you want to wear, for your own reasons." Very eloquently written!
