Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

News Roundup for week 16, 2011

So is everyone in the northern hemisphere ready for spring yet? I most definitely am. I still have the winter blankets on the bed, and I still wear my fleece jacket in the house half the time. It needs to not be so chilly any more…! I'd also like a few more sunny days to take proper photos of my various holographic polishes. (You know you're a beauty blogger when the sight of clear skies and bright sun sends you running for products to be swatched!!)

Up and Coming

...or really, this week, Right Here Right Now.

The Zoya Earth Day promotion is happening...and it works a bit differently than in previous years. It's also significantly shorter - one week, not a few months! Head over to Zoya's site to get the full details and place your order! (I got Creamy, Yummy, Tart, Faye, Dannii, Vivi, Paige, Beyonnce, and Mia. I'd already ordered the new-collection colors I wanted.) The final day to place your Earth Day orders is April 27th, 2011 (11:59PM EST).

Lost in Makeupland is having a Holy Week sale at her Artfire store - 10% off, no coupon code needed. Full details on the site's blog. I've tried and liked Lazy Sunday, Ink Bubbles, and Volta.

Bundle Monster has released their new set of image plates: 25 plates, with longer and wider individual designs so that folks with longer nails will more easily be able to use the full-nail designs. Buy the latest Bundle Monster 25-plate set from Amazon.com (company reps say that the set will be available through Amazon.co.uk in about two weeks - the plates have to get to the Amazon.UK distribution centers, so that UK orders can be filled and shipped in their normal timeframe.

Good Reads

Just as I'm about to publish the second part of my primer-and-foundation overview, Joy over at All Made Up asks us all: what is your daily skincare routine? And how much is too much? Some excellent comments, with people sharing their past and present skincare regimens.

Items of Note

Morgana Cryptoria's two latest eyeshadow collections have finally been released and are available to purchase! The Murder Mystery collection has six shimmering sparkling colors, and the Shifty Eyed collection has seven. More colors will be added to each collection throughout the year. If you prefer to sample first, you can also buy the entire collections in sample-size.

More Morgana news...Rose Plum is being discontinued. Remaining stock will be reduced in price. I really like this shade - it's deeper without being too dark. It's also a near-exact dupe for MAC's Most Popular lipstick, from that company's Hello Kitty collection of two springs ago. Read my review, and purchase the shade (if there are any tubes left!!)
