Please pardon the gaps...

The site is in mid-migration now (manual migration of over 7,000 entries, so there's a lot to be done.) The entry stubs are created for older content, but for the most part, the actual content isn't there quite yet. I am working on it. Unfortunately I have no ETA. But feel free to link to any page! When the content does get populated, the URL will stay the same.

News Roundup for week 17, 2011

So everyone with a television is watching the royal wedding today. Except me, it seems. I wish them well, in a vague sort of way, but I barely have patience for the nuptial productions that I'm obliged to attend. And those are usually over in about an hour, maybe two.

I now have my posting schedule arranged out to, through, and past Dragon*Con (which is 125 days from now.) And after Dragon*Con, I'll presumably have a whole bunch of new items to review, on account of The Grand Shopping Expedition and a few items coming to me from the UK. We've got a whole enablement circle: someone from the UK, Canada, the States…just a few more members, and the Circle Of Beauty Enablement is complete :D

Up and Coming

The various summer nail polish collections are coming out...and I'm totally unenthused about any of them. Then again, I did just get my Zoya Earth Day order (Paige is an amazing shade, don't know why I didn't try this one before but I'm in love!!) and the new Bundle Monster nail stamping plates, so I've got plenty of new toys. I also took an inventory of the polishes I currently own, and if I do three reviews a week (on Wednesdays, like I've been doing for the past month or so) I'll have nail polish reviews to write out through the end of February 2012.

A new indie makeup company, Rockeresque, is scheduled to open in May. I've seen a few product photos and swatches, and their colors look very bright and saturated! Their FAQ states that they currently handmake their shadows, but are going to be working with a lab to create their own line of vegan products...particularly mascara. No idea on their prices yet, but there appears to be activity over on the company's Facebook page, so you can read more about them as the launch date approaches.

Items of Note

I have the two latest Morgana eyeshadow collections, in sample size. I just haven't gotten around to swatching them yet. That'll be my weekend project... but if you've wanted any of Morgana's eyeshadows from the Pirate collection, the Get Medieval collection, or the Halloween 2009 collection, those are all going into the clearance section sometime soon (parts of each collection are already there) so get your colors quickly!! Generally, all that's available are samples - but currently, when you buy 3 or more clearanced eyeshadow samples, you pay $1.67 for each sample.
