Notoriously Morbid’s The Grand Empress

This is such a great liner shade for me! I get the definition in a color other than black or brown, and the patched-copper shimmer adds an extra element of both a contrasting color and some light reflectivity. This color is incredibly saturated! Just a little goes quite a long way - and be careful if you drop it on your clothing, you’ll have to either hope that you were wearing a really dark color or explain the purple as “an accent element”.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the eyeshadow in the pot; top right, the eyeshadow mixed with water and applied to bare skin; bottom left, the eyeshadow applied dry over primer.
Whether you apply it wet or dry, you'll see the metallic copper effect. You'll just see it slightly differently if you pat it on dry versus brush it on wet. (There may be differences in appearance if you use different mixing mediums, as well. I most often use water when foiling my eyeshadows, so that's how I swatched it.)
