NYX Cosmetics’ Epic Wear Liner Stick in Dusty Mauve

This is, on me, a very soft, near-neutral red. It’s soft enough and has enough neutral tones that it doesn’t make my eyes look inflamed or infected; but it doesn’t provide me very much in the way of definition. Even grey eyeliner - which I love - provides me more visible definition than this shade. It’s a good “nude” eyeliner when I don’t want any eye-brightening, like I would get if I used a color like Silkisemme’s Highlighter pencil, so this could be a great eyeliner for a “minimal/no makeup” look.

The formula is the same as other NYX Epic Wear Liner Sticks: the product is soft and won’t easily hold a point, but remains smudgable for about a minute after application so cleanup or blending is easy. The pencil barrel is plastic, but it is sharpenable. The product does not twist up, since this is not a retractable pencil.
