When I first saw this color in the pot I was very happy - excellent, another deeper cool red!! Turns out, though, that the shadow isn't too pigmented. While this is good in that you can get a red without getting an overly harsh red…it's easier to make a pigmented shade lighter, than it is to get a less-pigmented shade to appear more intense. Even applied wet, this color doesn't pop quite as much as I'd hoped it would.

I have some shades that are similar-ish, but nothing that applies quite as softly as this shade. I honestly can't decide if I'd buy this shade again, or not. (But for the price, you get a gracious plenty!! One pot fills a standard 10-gram sifter jar quite well.) This color's standout characteristic is that it applies more softly, and with more pink undertones, than any of its chromatic cousins that I already own.
