NYX Cosmetics’ Mimosa Chrome

Not sure what was going through the minds of the naming department, during the creation of this entire collection: “Sunny Day” is pink? And so is “Lemon Drop”? And why is “Mimosa”...lavender? I haven't ever drunk, seen, or heard of a purple mimosa. Maybe I just haven't been to the right college frat parties… At any rate, the color payoff is good. There's a bit too much opacity for this to be -=easily=- used as a highlighter, but it could work. This would look more striking on deeper-toned skin than with my cool-toned pale coloring. (Luckily the color is light enough to be usable by just about anyone, but not so light that you have to pile it on to get any color payoff.)
